Secure Payments
You should always be sure that the payment area of any web site uses
SSL (Secure Socket Layers) technology.
Our payments are handled by WorldPay who operate industry standard
128-bit encryption in handling your credit card details. After checking
the items in your basket and confirming your delivery details you will
switch into this secure payment environment.
How can you tell?
Typically browsers will show a padlock symbol somewhere on the open
window. Very often, for example in Microsoft Internet Explorer, this
padlock symbol appears in the bottom left of the page. Different browsers
may display this in different places, please check in the help menu
of your browser if you are unsure.
When you hold your mouse pointer over the padlock symbol in your browser
window a text box will display "SSL Secured". If you double-click
on the padlock a Security Certificate will pop up. This will give you
all the security information required, guarantee the identity of a remote
computer and tell you the owners name.
In our case the security certificate will be issued to WorldPay.
